Associate

Nick is an associate and joined the firm in 2021.  His practice focuses on bankruptcy and commercial law related matters, including secured and unsecured claims, avoidance actions, discharge proceedings, relief from the automatic stay, debt collection actions, and the recovery and liquidation of assets. In addition to the representation of debtors and creditors, Nick has represented Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustees in all aspects of administering bankruptcy estates. Nick has also represented clients in numerous bankruptcy court adversary proceedings such as complaints objecting to the dischargeability of debts, lien priority disputes, preference actions, and fraudulent transfer actions.

 

Nick received his undergraduate degree in Finance, with a Minor in Economics, from Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2010.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, Mc George School of Law in 2014 and was admitted to the State Bar of California the same year.  While at McGeorge, Nick was a member of the Dean's List and a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence recipient.

 

During his time in law school, Nick worked at the Community Legal Services Bankruptcy Clinic, assisting low-income clients in bankruptcy related matters. Prior to joining the firm Nick practiced in the areas of bankruptcy and general civil litigation as well as eminent domain and inverse condemnation.
